I get a lot of emails asking me if I paint these items myself..YES I DO!!!I have been painting for over 20 yrs...a dear lady, Connie Starnes, in 1987 put and ad in a local paper offering tole painting classes in her home.I didn't even know what it was! I needed something to do , I had just had back surgery and was not able to work,so I called her and went to see her...when I saw what it was ,I told her "I could never do that", as I had never even picked up a paint brush..She said anyone can paint!!!Well I started her class and was hooked...I loved it and Connie taught me many things and we became very good friends..She passed away several yrs ago, and I still think of her when I paint, wishing she could see how far I have come from that little apple cut out I first painted! I have a few things she did for me and I cherish them.

I am now offering ceramic canisters that are food safe .I can paint them like the wood ones shown or anyway you like them.Please chk new items pages for several ceramic pieces..I AM WORKING ON GETTING A SET OF CANISTERS LIKE THE WOOD ONES BELOW,A WOODCUTTER IS WORKING ON A DESIGN.WILL POST AS SOON AS I KNOW.

So after over 20 yrs I am still at it...Hubby does some cutting for me but most unfinished items I get from Jeff and Sherry ,They are the best. I bug them a lot , hope they do not mind!!!
Most things take 2-3 weeks for delivery as I do not keep a lot of stock on hand..some things take longer if I have to order the wood. My busiest times are at the end of the year, so order holiday items early. I use patterns from many designers such as Renee Mullins, Terrye French, Maxine Thomas, and many more, and sometimes I use part of a design then do my own thing with it. I want to thank them all for all the hard work they do keeping us painters painting.
